Role overview
Design the microwave signal path that reaches the qubit: control and readout chains, filtering, and the measurement hardware around them. The role spans simulation, board design and hands-on characterisation in the cryostat, with competitive compensation and openness to domestic and global candidates.
Key responsibilities
- RF and microwave circuit design, simulation and optimisation.
- Design and integration of quantum measurement and control systems.
- Work on end-to-end development: design, fabrication, testing and scaling.
- Characterise signal chains at cryogenic temperatures and close the loop with device teams.
- Contribute to building large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum systems.
Qualifications and experience
- Master's or PhD in Physics, ECE, Applied Physics, Materials Science or a related field.
- 2 – 15 years of experience in quantum technology, RF/microwave engineering or related domains.
- Passion to build world-class quantum technologies.
